    Wasting Away...

    My Marlboro looks like he has had it. I got him 3 years ago as a pair with no knowledge of their age. They came from a local LFS that dealt with Hans so they were german stendker discus. His partner wasted away 6 month ago. Both had hexamita and got back to health but the female just stop eating and wasted away. Now the male is going through the same and won't eat so no poop to check at all. I know they were at the LFS for a while since I recall seeing them for over a year or more when I brought in my ABN's for their stock. So old age might be the reason and maybe they had a hard life before I got them.

      Chuck they were nice looking discus when young. Its so hard to tell whats going on when discus waste away but in your case it sounds like old age may be the culprit.

          Sorry to see Chuck! They were great looking discus! Guessing old age. But who knows! This does seem the way discus die! Same with rams.
