I think I counted at least 30, but with some of them clumped together that is likely not entirely accurate.
Love the look of your colony Chuck, I'm super jealous. I hope you don't mind living vicariously through your experience as L046s are one of the fish I've always dreamed of breeding.JakeComment

Their are about 42 in the two boxes, need to Keep them in breeder boxes so the can be feed easier. They will go into the grow out tank when they reach 1 1/2" . Their are at least another 12 in the 20 gallon grow out tank. It's a bit crowded in the boxes so I ordered another that is coming today.Just Call Me Chuck

The only thing that is a bummer is waiting 2 + years to get them ready to spawn and the luck of the Irish that you have a good ratio of male female. After that your golden and it takes lots of water changes and disappointments when some don't make it. At the end it worth it. I got it going almost 3 years ago when I purchased my first batch of 1 1/2 inch L046's (TFK Aquatics from FB) and then a second and third from another vendor (La Paz Aquatics). Rodrigo from La Paz is awesome to work with and I was very grateful that he sold me such high quality zebras.
These pics it's easier to count

Surely those are at a sellable size Chuck. Did I read that you're looking to increase your colony or are you planning on selling these?JakeComment
