I got my garlic in the ground on Sunday. Took me a lot long than it has in the past because the cloves I have been selecting for just keep getting bigger. I ended up having to go buy a bulb auger, which worked well. I have to get some straw mulch on it still, but it's at least where it needs to be at the moment. 207 cloves planted.

Garlic!

You can plant it in the spring and harvest it at approximately the same time. It's called, shockingly... spring garlic. It's smaller and less garlicky. It grows slowly over the winter when planted in the fall and often times pops up through the snow late winter/early spring.Comment

Thanks Jacob, I have tried a bunch of varieties now...last batch was cold hardy Strains, but I wonder if heat tolerant is better now here...we seem to go from cold spring to hot summer overnight. Wasn't always like that.AquaticSuppliers.comFoods your Discus will Love!!!
