Hi Jim, remember these are not wild discus but first generation from wild parents. So there are three pairs across the eight fish, two which are confirmed. The fry from the video Francis posted are from the royal male and his red female. These fry will be eight weeks old in two days. At about the thirty day mark I ran into trouble with the fry. They become dark and many turned into zombie fry. I simplified the tank, removed a light layer of sand, cleaned filters, made large daily water changes. I think the issues resulted from overfeeding the fry, others think the fry got sick from feeding them blackworms. Either way the fry are on the mend, look good with good appetites. Note that the continuing story of these fish continues in this thread http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showth...p?137383-Crazy.
