    FS: Assassin Snails (shipping)

    Hi all,

I am selling my home bred assassin snails:

    10 for $25 shipped
    15 for $32 shipped
    20 for $38 shipped

Please send a PM and I'll get back to you within a day.

In case you're not familiar with assassin snails, they will hunt down and eat all of those annoying snails that you can't stand seeing in your tank. Once they're done with those, they will function wonderfully as a cleanup crew, eating up loose/tiny bits of food that settles to the bottom of the tank. The benefit is that they reproduce slowly so you won't be overrun by these guys in a matter of weeks or even months.

(Buy with confidence...see my iTrader rating and comments. I only sell good-looking, healthy snails...see the macro shot of one in my photo album!)

    Thanks,

    Mark

There are a few people looking for Assassin Snails at this time. Do you still have some available?

No aquatic creatures were harmed in the creation of this signature, although a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

How do they work on asian horned snails? Many snail eaters don't like to eat those how about the assassins?

I'll be honest, I'm not sure how assassins interact with asian horned snails since I've never had the pleasure of feeding them that kind of snail. General rule of thumb though, is that assassins will eat any snail that is not way bigger than it. Given that asian horned snails don't grow much bigger than 1/2 inch, I'd imagine it wouldn't be a problem for assassins. They'll stick their venom injector inside and slurp out their remains

Other snail eaters like loaches might avoid the asian horned snails because of the horns...making them difficult to gulp up. However, I've never owned loaches so I can't say much about them.

I'm fairly certain assassins would work here although I'd love to hear from anybody who's had first hand experience with both snails.

Yes, anyone out there know about asian horned snails, will assassins eat them?
