Canadian Aqua Farm that's selling on Ebay told me he is selling his inventory and once they are gone they are gone like everybody else. Looks like he has still inventory as of today.
I would prefer to buy from you AL but I need some to weed them off to some other candy. I tried the Tubifex cubes but they pick on them but not really eating them yet.

I used to buy my live worms from them back when they were available. There was no greater fun that watching a little bitty fry attack a live black worm and pick it to pieces bit by bit. After the farm no longer shipped live worms, I fed their freeze dried. Then Al started importing the Australian ones and I switched to Al's. I can tell you that the cubes from Al were more loosely packed and seemed to be more tender.

But they ARE Blackworms, and at this point any port in the storm in better than no port in the storm.

Guys.. This is my business board and I hope to one day able to offer them again to my customers. To that end I would prefer not having competitors getting airtime in my business forum


It also takes away from my pellet sales exposure.

Update from the farm.. I periodically check in. Wish I had better news but as of today they still are not able to resume shipping to international distributors and have no estimate available as to when they can.

At least they have their freeze drier up and running and the temps are better there.

Hi all,
I wanted to update you on the status of my next blackworm order. In June I was give indication by email that things were improving and posted about that.

Then in July they updated as follows



So I gave it another month and emailed the farm again...hoping for good news. I received an email that went out to all overseas distributors as follows..






Unfortunately I am afraid its going to be alot longer. I have been out of stock now for over 5 months . Prior to that it took months as well to get stock. Its crushing to my business and I know so many of you have come to really rely on these Freeze Dried Blackworms. Looking back I have been selling them over 14 years now. We have had a few periods where their were production glitches in that time, but nothing like this. Its really just such a bummer. I'm Sorry everyone.

I honestly have no clue what the situation is but I do wish they would stop calling it an " inconvenience". To their international customers its not just an " inconvenience.", and its definitely not just an " inconvenience" to their international distributors.

Its now been over 6 months since I have received stock... no clue when we will see more stock, but it doesn't look good. My sincere apologies to all of you that have come to depend on this product line. I wish I could do something about the present situation, but I can not.

There aren't many updates on their FB page, but they seem to be supplying their local area pretty good now with both freeze dried and live. Let's hope they make a full rebound!

Hi Jim, No I don't think that was ever the case, however as they tried to get back on their feet they only had enough stock to send to their Domestic Market. Even that was delayed.

It takes alot of product to supply their over seas markets and it has to be done all at once. Distributors buy it many Kgs at a time...it just was not possible. As soon as they could ship.. they did..
