Got my first discus in many years from Chicago discus. A beautiful checkerboard pearl pair. They are getting used to their new water and tank still a bit nervous with me watching but less than a week and they put down eggs today. Let them be once the eggs were down but here's some pics I took yesterday

That is incredible, Mike! I ship them to you Wednesday, they go into your tank Thursday, and on Sunday they are already spawning! Must be something in your water. Hope you get lots and lots of little wigglers... Miranda

they still aren't quite used to me but are quite happy when left alone. anytime I try to take pics they start showing bars and sometimes hide behind the wood. they will get better once they figure out i'm the one who brings food these days lol.

so far so good. they are tending them as they should.
