    Oh and one last one... Kind of funny. I was shooting some pics of bugs and saw movement out of the corner of my eye. Funny looking caterpillar?

    Eastern chipmunk (Tamias striatus) by Al Sabetta, on Flickr

    Turned out to be young chipmunk got stuck in its burrow. Just saw the tail moving. I was literally right over it and touched the tail.. Poor fellow was really stuck....eventually it got into the burrow.

    Beatiful pictures, Al. Got any new lights at a lower level? Maybe that chipmonk wasn't stuck, but was carrying a big load.

    Al, excellent series of macro shots and I love the jumping spiders. You have a nice level of detail with F8. I like your bugs better then mine...or I need to try some different locations. Glad you were able to rescue the chipmunk.

    I went back to this fellows hole and they must have done a serious renovation.. That hole is much larger now and clearly its had more dirt removed.
