Carbon replacement period?

Any of you that use carbon in your tanks? How often do you replace? Please provide size tank and amount used. Thanks.

Carbon has been linked to causing problems in discus. I don't use carbon and I think youll find the majority of discus keepers don't. did your tank cycle yet?

Well when I used to use carbon, I would replace it (max) once per month, but that was with my Angels, as they are not as picky. IMO it depends on your fish load and how much you feed vs w/c's. I am with Rick, I only use carbon now when I want to remove meds.
