Without a doubt...yes! The easiest way to reverse this condition is to improve the water conditions(step up water changes) and Improve the fish's diet. The addition of CBW or red wigglers will usually fix it up, although some scaring may be left behind.

Yes, and as stated above the trick is to feed LIVE foods like cbw AND to keep your tank, everything in it (even the heater cords) and inside your filter really clean. The holes will fill in and you won't notice at all on this colored discus.
