Nice fish but like I mentioned earlier its better to start with smaller fish in a grow out tank and raise them to this size. Far more rewarding and u get to learn a lot about these gorgeous fish
Hey Everyone,
Some of you may have read my previous threads, regarding my turquoise not eating well due to stress, new home etc.
I had him alone in the tank for 1 week, and he was only eating blood worms - no tetra bit.
1 week later I got him 2 new tank mates, but I see since he is a bit smaller they Ruby tends to bully him a little. He is definitely more active in the tank now that he isnt alone.
Anyways, here's a pic of my 3 fish - Getting 2 more end of the month.
Cheers
Ricardo

Good fish! They may be a bit football shaped though.

nice color.
Hi, they roughly 12cm I think.
Mastermamo is currently taking care of them for me, while I sort some tank issues out.
