Discus and size

Hi guys

Will 3-4 inch discus stand a better chance of surviving in a tank than 2-3 inch. I have a chance to purchase some discus.

2 of 4" super red royal blue 80$ each
4 of 4" red pidgions 75$ each
3 of 4" blue heavens 75$ each
6 of 4"-5" gold pidgions ss 95$ each
2 of 3"-4" red melons 80$ each
or some 2-3 inch discus cant remember the name (from the same guy)

They will survive equally well, but you will have a better idea of the adult quality, shape and color pattern with the 4 inch discus.
