    Default Scraping body against driftwood

I have had my 4 pigeon bloods for 3 weeks now and all seem healthy and are eating fine. Last night I did a major scrub down of the inside of the glass and then did a 50 % water change with aged water. There was some algae and film on the glass. The tank is now sparkling clean but right after, one of the discus started scraping his body against one of the driftwood pieces. He only did this 3 times but was rather aggressive when when he did it. I was wondering if it was a sign of some type of disease? ??? Hasn't done it since.

No, don't worry about it. If they start scratching more often. It's most likely gill worms.

Some times an itch is just an itch.

I've noticed that all of my fish do the scraping thing from time to time. The best thing to do is to keep a good eye on them if it is serious it will be steady, possibly progressively worse. ;D
