    Default growing c.b.w.

After reading a past post. I came upon this site, which is listed by Dan on his site.

Looks real simple, has anyone tried it? May be a big help, if you keep lots of discus. ;D

    I have.

heres an old article I wrote about it...

incidentally, some things I learned since I wrote it.....

    Its not worth it.

The worms primarily reproduce by asexual reproduction . Another words they break and grow into two new worms. If you want to try to culture them you have to mechanically break them. Thats how the professionals do it at their hatcheries.

    Hey Al

How do they go around breaking the worms? Somebody go around with a stick or a knife stirring up the cultures?

Believe it or not they use a very high tech method called manual labor. They basically stand out in the ponds and Rake them, causing them to break. The worms break along segments and grow into new worms.
