I always call them cobalt ( turquoise with more blue and less brown striations)

thanks for the replies, I guess it doesn't matter a whole lot but locally the discus market is pretty uhhh junky and you see like 20 names put to fish that all look the same to me. I just want to add some more discus after my new tanks are done cycleing and don't want to order more of the same thing.

When the time comes to order tell Cary or Jeff you don't want anymore turquoise or cobalt discus and ask what else they have for sale. Red fish like melons or sanmerahs would make a pretty contrast

Thats something along the lines of what I was thinking, although I also like the golds,Marlboros, tangerines and the whitefaced butterfly's and I need to find a male for my wild female later. So it might be a while before I add a whole lot due to not being able to decide and now that I have space I'll be short on funds for a little while but isn't that how it always works ?

yeah the camera looses alot of the blue, the striations are also more red then the pictures.
Right now I'm useing my camcorder to do post pictures so they don't always turn out right, one of these days I need to get a digital cam.

Yeah I hear that.... last night i was messing around with my Polaroid and i tried to take pics of my fish and tank but the flash kept jacking it all up..... then i busted out my Pentax 35mm and shot about 15 pics but i don't know how they turned out yet.... 1 hour photo i should get them today.... we'll see.

    Digital Cameral would rule!!

Anyone suggest how to take pics with a decent 35mm ?
