    Default wet/dry return

Was thinking of using the spray bar and flexible hose from my old fluval as the return for my wet/dry filter. I can see a few disadvantages with using that--more flimsy and not as clean looking as a pvc retrun, and sediment/waste seems to collect in the spray bar sometimes, but am thinking of using the spray bar for now. Just wanted to get your advice, and see if there are other things I should think about also in deciding about the return. Thanks.

    Bloom,

I wouldn't recommend it. Most Fluval/Eheim type returns aren't designed for the higher flow/pressures that come with a W/D. There's no real need to get fancy, a simple 90* elbow into the tank will suffice. Just make sure it's an inch or two below the water's surface.
