when do Discus show their colors?

Generaly what size are discus when they start to show their coloration. There were some Blue Diamonds at the LFS that couldn't have been more than 2.5" and they had all of their color. I was wondering that maybe those were stuntted.

Blue diamonds are about the only ones who have their colour at a young age. still a lighter blue but show solid colour. pigeons show colour. any striated usually are little brown babies at that age.
check the size of the eye .
your still better off to find a hobbyist or breeder near you or ship. beter chance of health and quality.
