    Default mollies, platies, and swordtails

    i've always loved mollies, platies, and swordtails can these go ok in the discus tank?

    They will all struggle to some degree with the temps. Also all of them prefer alkaline to brackish water. I have actually acclimated mollies into a reef tank, they had the most intense black colouring too. Overall I would say no, though I have kept mollies in with discus before (the mollies didn't live much past 12months). BTW I love mollies too.

    what about dwarf gouramis, pearl gouramis, CAE, clow loaches, rummynose tetras, rainbows, hatchetfish, and silver dollars?

    Yes these are ok, they tolerate many water conditions and temps.

    All work well in a discus tank, all need to be in small shoals, from 2 or 3 for the clowns to 6+ for the remainder. Zebras are probably a better choice in the loach

    and silver dollars?
    Lovely fish, will eat all of your plants if you have any. They grow large but should be ok.
