    Default Pairing couple?

    Hello everyone:

I think my pigeon discus are pairing up but im not sure. They are the biggest fish in the tank both measuring about 6". They like to swim together but only at the top of the tank. They kind of stay away from the other fish. The fins on the pearl are more pointy or sharp while the yellow is more round. Im assuming the pearl is a male while the yellow is a female.

Can someone give me some input on this please? Should I go purchase a 28 gallon tank just in case?

It may be the first signs of pairing. If they start pecking at a spot on the glass or whatever, and quiver towards each other, then it's very likely that they are a pair...

The pearl actually did the quivering thing! I thought he was sick. The pearl is the male I think. Thanks!
