Water became cloudy next day after water change
Hi all, I have a problem with my 55. First off it has a sand bottom, and has 7 plants in it. The tank has been running for over a year now with no problems until today. I normally do a 20% weakly water change and once a month do a 90% water change. I did have alot of algea on the bottom of the tank which I cleaned up quite a bit. I did do the 90% water change yesterday morning with no problems. The water was crystal clear when lights went off at 10 pm. This morning the water is very cloudy but the fish seem normal. The filter is making a little noise but has been doing this for a while now. Could it be from disturbing the sand?

when you say cloudy do mean algae cloudy, white cloudy?
