Default Opinion on "RO or RODI" systems

Hi, would like to find out what is the best way to go. My old RODI unit died on me so I'm looking to replace it with what would be best for my Discus and also I would like to have a high volume output as I'm getting ready to expand with a small fish room so I want to be able to have a good amount of ro water each day for water changes for breeding and grow out. So I'm looking to get a good unit. The question is do we really need the DI portion of it.

Please offer your opinion and comments. Also if you feel you have a good one please let me know where you got it.

    Thanks again.

no reason for di and in most cases it will not last long enough any way.

Depends how 'pure' you would like your water. DI does take out more impurities and metals that the membrane doesn't. My resin lasts about 2 months on a 100 gpd unit. Either way should be fine more of a personal preference.
