Love your photos! Want to share any pointers on your photo process?
Do you remove/transfer the fry from the growout tank for photos?
Also, can you post a photo with size reference, I was trying to see how large they were compared to others in the contest. thx![]()

I use Olympus E510. Fish love much better in black background. I used to keep lot africian cichlids with black bg and enjoyed to take pictures of them
I know some discus show more peppering in black bg, but black bg still my first choice for pictures
I don't transfer the fry for picture since when you move, they don't show the best color. They need time to get back their color in new tank.
I have over 60 fry from this batch, so I have about 20 on black bg for picture, the rest are in grey bg (4-6week pictures)
I may try measure them next time
Ryan you know I had to come and check out your fish lol they are looking pretty good, like those nice pictures too keep us up to the date with those spectacular photos.
