I forgot to include the photo of the mysterious creature I found in my rock during a water change. I had seen tentacles last week but it had gone deep into the rock when I went to investigate. It was a bit unnerving.
I had no idea it was a starfish other than it moves like one- until you look really closely and you can see the two new arms regenerating. He is so young and tender I am thinking one of the fish or crabs has been snacking on him. He’s a survivor though. I hope he grows enough to come out and show himself. The reef shop guy said he would be beneficial and to let him be. So he lives another day.
