Great Pics...
The Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) , not exactly a bird that Bird watchers go "wow" to when we see them, and they are not great for lawns, swimming areas, and golf courses..However, These birds do have a certain charm to them, and can be interesting to watch and photograph. Being so common they usually find their way onto my memory card...

Did you like it?
The only way I've prepared it that I felt was "good" was making bacon wrapped cream cheese and jalapeno poppers out of it. Made a lot of jerky out of it... wasn't horrible, but deer is so much better.
Tastes like greasy liver.
Al, I will not comment on the thought which run thought my head when I saw the title to this thread lol The photos are all great and I like the in-flight image where the goose is looking right at you. On another note are geese like ducks? We use to hunt ducks and I did not care for them even thru I love dark meat, I guess I didn't like the taste of duck meat plus they were a pain to clean. Guessing geese are similar?
So there is a use to the invasive Iguanas and reticulated pythons .

Nice pictures! I appreciate that you correctly identified them as Canada geese not Canadian geese like a lot of people mistakenly say. Nothing Canadian about non migratory Canada Geese. I do love them, don’t live on a golf course so no complaints from me, but I wouldn’t turn down a well prepared goose dinner. Iguanas, one meat I haven’t tried yet, but I would if presented the opportunity. I guess there must be an expression for cold snaps in Florida about getting dinner “falling out of the trees”, just like like shooting fish in a barrel.
And yes Al, your photography skills are superb, I bow to you and the geese.EFDE3DE1-27F1-4335-BB4E-CA3F37F6EA5D.jpg
