Really pretty fish Pat!
I received four blue snakeskins from Miranda of Chicago Discus on Friday and they have settled in very nicely. They are displaying the full range of discus behaviors; pushing, tail slapping and maybe even a bow (not sure about that). They have recovered a lot of their eye and body color and I love the subtle coloration of these fish.
Yesterday I sat in front of the tank with a camera trying to capture the cool colors of these guys but I think I need more practice. I also noticed how bad the back of the tank needs to be cleaned. So please forgive the nasty tank background. This guy is the dominate fish of the group. It's also the most red based.

This is one of the more blue based fish.

Really pretty fish Pat!
My guess, which has a 50% chance of being correct, is that number 3 is a male.

I love that red eye on number 3.
This is the four fish which I didn't have picture of earlier in this thread. The split tail is healing was from being shipped to Miranda. I switched from a macro lens to a wide angle lens for these photos.

I do. Have you changed your mind about him (her)?

Nice looking fish for sure can't wait for updates down the road.
I have a pretty randy tank among the snakeskins this morning. One female with her tube dropped and a couple males duking it out.

Great looking Discs congrats.
