I checked their website and found that the lobster eggs are only available to their European customers. They have two lists of single frozen foods, one for Europe and one for The rest of the world. I imagine they wouldn't sell well here as they're too exotic and specific for us low level aquarists, lol. Europe gets all the best stuff.

I think the eggs you are thinking of are a type of shrimp egg, although I have been told different things at different times. Salmon eggs are a very large egg, over a 1/4" in diameter, so would be useless for raising young fry. I make salmon roe caviar every year from salmon I catch. My wife LOVES it, but it is definitely one of the largest fish eggs I have seen.

    Actually freestylez,

I don't think those are salmon eggs. I believe those eggs come from herring or smelt. Like it was mentioned above, salmon eggs are about 1/4" in diameter, useless for frys unless you were to use them to make some kind of processes food. I love and eat lots of lobster and have come across their roe before, they are quite a bit smaller than the eggs in your pic. I just have never had any to feed my fry. Sure would love to try.

salmon eggs can be small, depending on how close the fish is to spawning, but I dont think they are small enough for fry.

Freesty,,, YOUR getting me hungry. Those are flying fish eggs... (Topeako) Spelling may be wrong but if someone speaks Japanese plz correct me. Lobster eggs sound good to me. I will do a test from the same spawn once I get them. Unless of course thier 50 bucks an ounce.
