City cuts off Electricity at Apt. Their Screw up

Couple of things..
City of Austin got confused between where I was moving to where I lived.. . We moved to new place last week. But brother stayed at old place till end of month when lease is over.. City turned off elec. Friday. I happened to go after work to feed fish still there..and that's when I found out.. I immediately called City. After about 20 mu n.. they realized it was mistake. So she ordered it to be turned back on friday nite.

I go by this evening.. still off .. City closed till monday..

Here is kicker. My brother still lives there and guess it didnt bother him.. nor bother to inform me earlier that friday. And then saturday morning it was still off.. did he call? Nope.. so when i asked after work and he told me nope.. still off.. city was closed for weekend now..

And.. winter freeze is in effect in Austin..

But now for rest of the story.

I have 8 guppy tanks.. 20 betta jugs.. and 1 ram tank..
No air.. no heat.. wont know damage till monday..
What are odds of survival. ?

I will find out monday

My brother is a odd fellow.. I think he actually has mental issue.. so the fact this issue did not bother him enough for a phone call is not surprise. It was in low 60's on friday inside apt. Its the water quality with no filter running and heat for rams that concerns me most

Oh boy..

called City first thing this morning.. the city rep was like "oh my. i am so sorry mr. gonzalez, we screwed up again!! the rep from Friday put the RE CONNECT date for Dec. 2nd.. NOT last friday!!" WTH!?!?!

so it should be FIXED today..

i told her fine.. but if i have DEAD FISH.. i am calling back.. she said.. they do have a CLAIM procedure.. and since twice they screwed up.. i think i am in a good position for claim.. i will find out today after 5..
