Not sure what you mean, but do you mean to say these are "small mouth bass"?
Getting dog food and found these at my local PetCo.Baby smallmouths.I have a few open tanks after cutting way back and no heater is a plus.Been feeding them frozen but also started hitting flakes now they've settled in.

Well alright! Don't name them, feed them good and in a few months, FISH FRY IS ON! LOL!!!
Bill thats really cool. I've a soft spot for natives as well and have kept a bunch here.We had a 14 inch large mouth bass for a year one, raised out bullheads, and my favorites - pumkin seed blue gills. Cant beat the lack of needing a heater!

Love Pumpkin seeds Al.When My son had a corn snake,I had a largemouth in the smaller version of my pond, and I would get a mouse for the snake and a mouse for the bass.Big hit at the family reunion.

I'm not sure Bill but to me they look like sunfish and yes I do know Bass are sunfish but the black ear I have never seen on my small smallmouths and the body doesn't look right.
I'm big fan of Sunfish the pumpkinseed and Long eared sunfish will give many discus a run for the money in the color dept.
My small largemouth and small smallmouth bass seemed to have a longer body.....maybe its just the pictures.
