I've seen alot of aweful discus being sold by people that really have to know better. Its one thing when a fish may be a liitle off shapewise, color and pepper etc .. theres a learning curve to developing an eye but when i see stuff like these currently on ebay...

Folks please, please , please take the time to read here and ask lots of questions. I feel real bad that some unsuspecting novice is going to think thats a great deal and buy them.
Those discus are not what you want. They are the perfect example of how not to raise discus.

When folks say, I'll get ten and sell two of the stunted ones after grow out. This is something that irks me. They should say cull two instead. That first picture looks like a cross between a convict cichlid. Just saying
I don't think I've ever seen a thinner, more stunted fish. The picture on Aquabid is even worse, sadly. You can clearly see some fin rot going on.
If he's using that photo as a sales tool, I wonder where his 98.4% positive feedback comes from...
Good discus aren't cheap, cheap discus aren't always good...
