I really hate when I find a new bug in my yard... Is it invasive , will it wipe out a native plant?
Saw these today.. neat looking bug...no idea yet what they are.

When I was a kid I was running through a corn field and ran straight into one of these and the web wrapped around my head and the spider was stuck to my face. It was the scariest moment of my life

    thanks Tom.
Yesterday was a Pentax Day.. most shots were pentax k-1 full frame with pentax DFA 100mm 2.8 macro.

the snake and clematis patch were pentax k-3 with DfA 150-450.

I use these alot around the yard.

the snake you saw was a Northern Water snake.. harmless but not nice. They are biters and draw alot blood.lol..speaking from experience. I have one living in my hot tub insulation right now.
