Beautiful Pat. Very nice shape and pattern. Can’t wait to see them once they have fully gotten over their trip to your place.
Do you have any specific goals for these? Perhaps a cross with your wild greens?
I want to thank Miranda for the super nice blue fineline snakeskins. I messaged her over FB messager to see if she had any blue fineline snakeskins and she said she would check with her supplier as she was just finalizing a shipment. A little later in the day she sent me a photo with four SS and I decided to have her include them in her shipment.
The fish arrived yesterday and came by Southwest Cargo. They were in the box about six to seven hours or so. Once I got the fish home it took me about 10 minutes to break into the box lol. I floated the bags about 10 minutes in their tank. I then took each bag to the sink, removed three layers of bag and finally got to the final bag. I carefully drained the bag water out of the bag just leaving the fish in the bag and careful to not allow outside air into the bag. Carried the bag the tank and slowly eased the fish into the tank. Repeated this for all four fish. I had added salt to the tank prior to receiving the fish and left the light off over the fish to allow the fish to settle. After a couple hours the fish seemed to settle in well and would come over to my hand when I touched the glass. I turned the tank light on in the sunset which is pretty dim and took this video with my phone (I do not think YouTube shorts embed).

Miranda was a pleasure to deal with and kept in contact via email. She emailed me several times yesterday letting me know when she was taking the fish to the airport and all the information needed to claim the fish from Southwest Cargo. A most enjoyable experience and I am super happy with the fish. Thank you Miranda.

Thank you Danny and I will post pics after a couple days. Short term goals with these guys is to grow them out a bit and hopefully breed them in the future. I need more practice growing out fry and I am hopeful these guys can help me with that. I am guessing the RSGs are a year away from a possible spawn from them and I want to be ready Regarding a possible cross in the future, maybe as a long-term goal but short-term goals come first.

Great looking discus! Good luck with them!
Very nice, Pat. I'm looking forward to seeing them as they progress. Good job, as always, Miranda.

Beautiful shape on these, Pat. One of my favorite discus is a big snakeskin I got from Miranda last year. It seems to have been ignored by everyone else and was likely the last one of the lot. I snatched it up and have enjoyed it since.
At my age, everything is irritating.
Beautiful fish for sure! Miranda is very knowledgeable and very pleasant to be around!
